Copleston Oak – Tamerton Foliot

The same day that I went to Yealmpton, I visited Tamerton Foliot again.

Unfortunately they lock the church now, and so I could not get in to get some more pictures of the memorial to John and Susanna Copleston. The Oak Tree is still thriving and I did get a better close up of the plaque at the base. Pictures below…enjoy.

  1. I visited Tamerton Foliat church recently to see the monuments. Although locked, it is very easy to get the key. There’s a shop nearby that sells trophies. You pick the key up from there. They are friendly enough.

    Cheers
